WILL WE BE HANDLING
YOUR RELOCATION?
Ameritrans
International is a forwarding company in charge of coordinating the
moves of military members HHG internationally. Our local agents, at
origin, will coordinate and perform the “pack-out” of your
belongings in conjunction with the local Personal Property Shipping
Office (PPSO). If you see something of concern during the packing
of your household goods, please question the on-site packer. We want
to minimize and/or eliminate any possible damages to your property.
Prior to your pack date, you should receive an email from us with a
attached letter regarding information about your move. We make every
effort to make contact with our shipping members via email so that
we may address questions throughout your move.
After your shipment has been packed at origin, we will coordinate
the transfer of your goods from origin to whichever Port will
service your move. Typically, shipments are moved via freight train
or Semi Trailer. Once your shipment has reached the Port, our Port
agents will assign your goods to a container ship heading for your
destination. As soon as we know the ETA of your goods into your
destination Port, you will once again, be contacted via email to
alert you of the timing and to notify you which of our destination
agents will be in charge of delivering your goods.
Please understand that we make every effort to move shipments as
quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. However, back-ups at
the Port, due to large volumes of shipping, do occur. In some cases
this will affect the timing of delivery. We make every effort to
ensure that you are kept abreast of these happenings.
If you need assistance, or have any questions on the coordination of
your move from “pack-out” to delivery, please feel free to contact
us here at Ameritrans. We can be reached during normal business
hours (PST) at (800) 772-1821. Please see the contact page of this
website for emails and further numbers.
Thank You!
